The Role of Arabs:

Before reading these Ahadith it should be kept in mind that we are all taught to respect and love the Arab Nation since Dear Prophet (Salallaho alayhay wa allam) is also Arab. So we must give high respect to the Arab Race.

Now according to an hadith from Saheeh Muslim when Umm-e-Shuraik asked يا رسول الله فأين ‏ ‏العرب ‏يومئذ "O Prophet of Allah.Salallaho alayhay wa sallam " Where would be the Arabs (at the time of Dajjal).and Dear Prophet Salallaho alayhay wa sallam replied قال هم قليل said "They(the Arabs) would be very small in number" This clearly shows that Arabs will be very less in the Army of Mahdi.

According to Ahadith these are the following points that shows that the Arabs will have little role in this great Jihad.

Note: After reading the following ahadith Some people (who are victims of illusions of DAJJAL) consider the Jewish sponsered TALIBAN or the Al Qaeda as the Army of Mahdi which is totally wrong since both these are American CIA sponsored afflictions made to do the massive killing of the people of these areas.

A very small number of Arabs will be there at the time of the Jihad against the Jewish King DAJJAL.

Umm Sharik reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (Salallaho alayhay wa sallam) as saying: The people would run away from the Dajjal seeking shelter in the mountains. She said: Where would be the Arabs then in that day? He said: They would be very few. Reference : Saheeh Muslim Book 041, Number 7035

The army of Mahdi will come from the East and not from any Arabian city.

Adbullah bin Haris (R.A) reported that Dear Propet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said, InSome people will come out from the EAST who will make Caliphate(Islamic rule) easy for Imam Mahdi.*1 *1*Reference Ibn-e-Majah 4088

• Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah Bin Masood(raddi Allah anho) that Dear Propher (salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said: A Nation will come from the East with Black Flags and they will ask for some “Khair” (because of them being needy) but the people will not give them,then,they will fight and win over those people(who didn’t give them what they asked).Now the people will give them what they asked for but they will not accept it untill they will hand it over to a person from my progeny who will fill this earth with Justice just as it was previoulsy filled with opression and tyranny .So if anyone of you find this Nation( i. e from the East with black flags) then you must joing them even if you have to crawl over ice.*4*4 Reference Al-Asha-ah الآﺸﺍﻋﺔ Page 240.

• Dear Prophet(Salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said that from the East once the Childern of Abbas will come out with black flags and will stay as long Allah subhanahu wa ta-ala wills and then small black flags will appear who will fight with the off spring of Abu Sufyan and their partners and they will obey (Imam )Mahdi Reference: Al-Hawi 69/2

Some Arab Tribes will be made slaves by Mahdi's Army and it will be allowed to make Arabs as slaves which had been forbidden before

According to hadith it had been made forbidden to make the Arabs as slaves but in the end times , making Arabs as slaves will be allowed according to the following Ahadith.

• Narrated by Umm-E-Salma (May Allah be please with her) Dear Prophet Salallaho alayhay wa sallam said " 313 people from my Ummah (Nation) just like the number of people who participated in the battle of BADR, will pledge allegiance for Caliphate to a person between the Black Stone and the Place of Abrahim (two points in the Holy Mosque Kabah) .Then Asa-eb from Iraq (8 to 12 Pious people of Iraq) and Abdal of Shaam( 40 pious men in the Countries of Sham) will come to him(to join him).Then an army will come from Shaam ( to attack them) but will be swallowed in earth when this army reaches at BAIDA between Makkah and Madina. Then another person who will be from the tribe of Quraish and his maternal uncles will be from the Tribe of Bani Kulaib (an Arab Tribe) will attack him (i.e Imam Mahdi). ALLAH will make them loose also. Dear Prophet Muhammad Salallaho alayhay wa sallam said that on that day the Person who will not take the properties of the (defeated) Kulaib tribe will be at great loss (Meraning that Kulaib tribe will be made slaves and their property taken by the victorious Army of Mahdi) Refrence : J4 Page 431

The first attack on Imam Mahdi will be done by the Arabs having the custody of the Holy Mosques

• Narrated by Hazrat Abu Huraira(radi Allah Anho) from Hazrat Abu Qatada:Dear Prophet (Salallaho alayahy wa sallam) said: People will be given allegiance (Beyat) to person (i.e Mahdi) between the Ruken(Hajr-e-Aswad) and Mukam(Mukam-e-Ebraheem) and no one else but the same people who are related to that place(citizens of Makkah) will destroy the respect of Kabah(as they will attack Mahdi in Kabah where fighting is forbidden) and when they will declare it Halal then do not ask about the killing of the ARABS(there will be a mass killing of arabs).Then Ethopians(Africans) will come and they will desolate it in such a way that it would never be a habitat and these will be the people who will take out its treasure. Refernce :Masnad Imam Ahmad 35/15. Also Mustadrik J5 Page 456.

The Arabs will be attacked by the Army of Mahdi from the East

• Thawban (R.A) reported that Dear Propet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said, “ In your old age three men will be killed . Each of them will be the son of a Khalifah. Then the black banners will come out of the east, *1 and they will slaughter you in a way that no Nation has ever done before.Then Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said soemthing that I didn’t remember.Then again Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said if you see him give him your allegiance, even if you have to crawl over ice, because he is the Khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi.*2 2 Reference Ibne Majah Page 300, Also in Ahmad's Musnad, al-Haakim's Mustadrak and others.).

Arabs will not help the Army of Mahdi when they will ask for their help

The large number of Mahdi Army will be from Muslim Bani Ishaq & not from Bani Ismael(the Arabs)

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) saying: You have heard about a city the one side of which is in the land and the other is in the sea (Constantinople). They said: Allall's Messenger, yes. Therer upon he said: The Last Hour would not come unlesss seventy thousand[1] persons from Bani lshaq would attack it. When they would land there, they will neither fight with weapons nor would shower arrows but would only say:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," that one side of it would fall. Thaur (one of the narrators) said: I think that he said: The part by the side of the ocean. Then they would say for the second time:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest" that the second side would also fall, and they would say:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," that the gates would be opened for them and they would enter therein and, they would be collecting spoils of war and distributing them amongst themselves that a noise would be heard and It would be said: Verily, Dajjal has come. And thus they would leave everything there and would turn to him.* Reference Book 041, Number 6979: Saheh Muslim

Note:* It strange that some people explained this hadith by saying that the word BANI ISHAQ (Childern of Ishaq) means BANI ISMAEL (Childern of Ismael). The word Bani Ismael is never ever in any of the original copies of SAHEEH MUSLIM book.

* Also it can never mean Bani Ismael since the BANI ISMAEL is not living in the EAST of Arabian Peninsula as the Above 6 Authentic Ahadith tells that Mahdi's army will come from the East.

* Also it can never mean Bani Ismael since the word 70 thousand stands for a LARGE NUMBER and the hadith of Saheeh Muslim tells that the ARABS WILL BE VERY LESS at that time .This hadith is given below again.

* Also some people said that the BANI ISHAQ word here meant the ROMANS. This is also meaningless since the Above 6 Authentic Ahadith tells that the Army of Mahdi will come from the EAST but the Romans live in the West

MISTAKE IN THE EXPLANATION OF HADITH OF BANI ISHAQ

References / Notes *1 70 thousand means a large number in many Ahadith. WRONG INTERPRETATION OF THE ABOVE HADITH OF SAHEEH MUSLIM ABOUT BANI ISHAQ According to some Scholar’s the word Bani-Ishaq (Children of Prophet Isaac ) actually means Bani-Ismael(Childern of Prophet Ismael ) but to prove their point could not give a single hadith/narration which mentions Bani-Ismael.The only word mentioned in this hadith is Bani-Ishaq and by no means it means Bani-Ismael because v The same BANI ISHAQ race is mentioned again in Hadith Number 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 and 17 by words like Bani-Israel and Al-Haroon(Family of Prophet Haroon) . All these three words means Bani-Ishaq only because Prophet Haroon is brother of Prophet Moses & their forefather is Prophet Israel who is son of Prophet Ishaq and therefore BANI ISRAEL here means Bani Ishaq. Are the Romans or the Arabs from Bani Israel ????? No way. v The Authentic Ahadith No 1 ,2 ,3,4,5 and 6 tells that the Army of Imam Mahdi will come from the EAST . So it can never mean either the Bani Ismael (the Arabs ) or the Romans since BOTH DO NOT LIVE IN THE EAST OF ARABIAN PENINSULA. The Romans live the West and not the East. Cant anybody open their eyes and see????? v Hadith 18, 19,20,21, 22 ,23 and 24 tells that these forces will come from Khorasan(also EAST) & Bani Ishaq lives in Khorasan . The ROMANS donot live in Khorasan and the Arabs also do not live in Khorasan. v The clothes of Mahdi are Qutwani Cloaks which are worn in daily life in Khorasan by the Muslim Bani Israel i.e the Pathans. Do the Arabs or the Romans wear Qutwani Cloaks??? NO. So the word Bani Ishaq can never point to the Arabs or the Romans. v The following hadith tells us that at the time of Dajjal THE ARABS (Bani Ismael ) WILL BE IN VERY SMALL NUMBER. Reference : Saheeh Muslim Book 041, Number 7035 (The same hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Juraij with the same chain of transmitters. Reference : Saheeh Muslim ,Book 041, Number 7036) Now the word used here is “70 Thousand People of Bani Ishaq” and always in the Ahadith the word 70 is normally used to point out a Majority. Now the Saheh Muslim Hadith tells us that the Arabs (Childern of Prophet Ismael) will be in small Numbers at the time of Dajjal ,so it is not possible at all that the Words “70 Thosand Bani Ishaq” points out to the Arabs because they will be in small numbers. Some Scholars said that the Bani Ishaq is pointing towards a group of people in “Bilad Ush Sham” (Syria,Lebanon,Israel etc ) who claim to be from Bani Ishaq. This is contradictory to the following points of ahadith: v Because in Ahadith Syria is always mentioned as from the WEST but the Hadith 1 ,2 ,3,4,5 and 6 tells that these forces will come from the EAST and Syria is not East but it is WEST. v Hadith 18, 19,20,21, 22 ,23 and 24 tells that these forces will come from Khorasan(also EAST) & Bani Ishaq lives in Khorasan which is also against their opinion Note: For the above mentioned numbers of Ahadith pls visit the HOME PAGE

Now in these ahadith ,the same is again described or further explained

Army of Mahdi will be from Muslim Bani Israel / Al-e-Haroon (Same meaning as Bani Ishaq in the previous hadith of Muslim)

• Narrated Hazrat Umama reported Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: You and the Romans(Christians) will have four peace treaties *4. The fourth peace would be at the hand of a person who would be from the Al-e-Haroon( family of Prophet Haroon).This peace treaty would be for seven years. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was asked who would be the Imam of the Muslims at that time. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said” That person would be from my family,his age would be 40 years ,his face would be bright as a start and a black spot would be on his right cheek.He would be wearing two Qutwani Cloaks.He will appear exactly as the person from Bani Israeel. He will rule for 20 years and will conquer the cities of the Mushrikeen(Idolaters) *5*5 (Ref: Kanz-ul-Aamal, Page 268, Hadith No 3868).This hadith proves that the Saheeh Muslim hadith(No4 above) means Bani-Ishaq as Al-e-Haroon and Bani-Israel have the same meaning as Bani-Ishaq.

8. The blessed Mahdi’s stature and posture resemble those of the People of Israel. (Reference:Al-Qawl Al-Mukhtasar Fi alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, pp. 36-29.)

9. His body is an Israelite one. (Reference: Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 24.)

10. The Mahdi is like one of the People of Israel. (His demeanor resembles theirs, it is majestic and wise) (Reference: Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, pp. 23-30.).

11. The blessed Mahdi has an Israelite body. He resembles one of the greatest of the People of Israel. (Reference: Ibn Hajar al-Makki).

12. His body is like that one of an Israelite. (Reference: Mar'i ibn Yusuf al-Maqdisi, Fera Idu Fevaidi'l Fiqr Fi'l Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar).

13. He will resemble one of the Israelites [in his external appearance]. (Reference: Al-Uqayli, An-Najmu's-saqib fi Bayan Anna'l Mahdi min Awladi Ali b. Abu Talib Ale't-Tamam ve'l Qamal).

14. It is as if he is a man from the people of Israel. (Reference: Nuaym ibn Hammad, vr. 52a; Mar'i ibn Yusuf al-Maqdisi, Fera Idu Fevaidi'l Fiqr Fi'l Imam al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar).

15. The appearance of Imam Mahdi (according to AHadith) is that he has deep wheatish complexion, light stature, medium height,beautiful broad comlexion,long straight nose,eyes brows round like bow,big natural black eyes,very white front two teeth and with a spacing between the teeth,a black mole mark on the right cheek,face glowing like a shining star,a mark on shoulder like that of Dear Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa Sallam),complexion like the Arabs and body like the Childern of Israel,slight slutter in the tongue due to which he hits his right hand on left thigh sometimes because of annoyance,will appear at the agae of 40 ,while praying to Allah he will expand his hands for prayers like birds expanding their wings, will be wearing QUTWANI CLOAKS (the clothes of Childern of Israel), will resemble in character to Dear Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa Sallam) but in apperance he will be different from Dear Prophet Muhammad (Salallaho alayhay wa Sallam)(Also Because he will wearing clothes like the Childern of Israel i.e the QUTWANI CLOAKS). (Reference. Al-Asha-ah Page 194-195 )

HAZRAT EISA IS ALSO FROM THE BANI-ISRAEL & BANI-ISHAQ

Prophet Hazrat Eisa alayhay Salam (i.e Prophet Jesus Christ )will be sent by Allah to help Mahdi and Prophet Hazrat Eisa is also from Bani-Ishaq . I hope they don’t change Hazrat Eisa(alayhay salam) to be among the Bani-Ismael.

This fact also proves that the BANI-ISHAQ written in the hadith means BANI-ISHAQ and not Bani Ismael since a prophet always comes among his own NATION at the beginning.

The clothes of Mahdi are different from the Arabs

...............Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said” That person would be from my family,his age would be 40 years ,his face would be bright as a start and a black spot would be on his right cheek.He would be wearing two Qutwani Cloaks.He will appear exactly as the person from Bani Israeel. He will rule for 20 years and will conquer the cities of the Mushrikeen(Idolaters) *5*5 (Ref: Kanz-ul-Aamal, Page 268, Hadith No 3868).

WHAT IS MEANT BY QUTWANI CLOAKS IN AHDITH?

According to the reference of the kafirs i.e Britannica 1997 :Qutwani cloaks resembles the "TALLIT" of present day as called by the Israelis.Both Qutwani cloak and TALLIT have fringes (tzitzit) on borders and its mostly made of Wool.. It generally falls across the head, neck, and shoulders. However the Qutwani cloak is larger and more conspicuous prayer shawl than the Tallit.

Now according to the Hadith there are “Two” Qutwani cloaks mentioned and are made of Wool (as many scholars described it ) and are wrapped around the body.Qutwani cloak is exactly like the cloaks worn by the Pashtoons of Afghanistan and Pakistan and its also worn in the same way like the Qutwani cloak described in the hadith and its explanation.

The Pashtuns wrap these cloak around them to protect them from cold weather and they have fringes on the borders.Infact these cloaks are often the necessary part of the Pashtun dress (In Contrast to the present day jews who wear the so called Tziitzit as a symbol and which are much smaller to be wrapped around the body.infact it has just become a something to show off by jews and not essential part of dress).

The above mentioned hadith telling that Imam Mahdi would be from the family of Dear Prophet (salallaho alayhay wa sallam) but would NOT look like Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) in appearance clearly tells that Mahdi will not be living among the Arabs .His appearance described as wearing Qutwani cloaks and looking like a person from Bani Israel shows that he must have been living among the Pathans for a long time and therefore IMAM MAHDI would be dressed also like the Pathans.

The Arabs Do not wrap cloaks around them like this and also their cloaks never have fringes and are not made of wool because is not so cold in middle east.

The Army of Mahdi will come from Khorasan

• Dear Prophet Muhammad(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said that”When you hear the news of Black Flags coming from the East, then, you must join them even if you have to crawl over ice(to reach them).*1 Ref: Saheeh Trimdi J2,Page 56.

• "Thawbaan reported that the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, 'Three will fight for the your treasure (of the Ka`bah), each of them the son of a 'Khaleefah', it will be rendered to none of them. Then from the direction of the East will emerge Black Flags. Then they will fight you like they have fought none before.' Then some words were spoken which I did not remember. He then said, 'If you see him, give bay`ah to him even if you must crawl over ice. For, verily, he is the 'Khaleefah' of Allah (Khaleefatullaah), the Mahdi" *2 Ref :Ibn Maajah, Ahmad's Musnad, al-Haakim's Mustadrak and others.

• Thoban r.a(Companion of Dear Prophet Muhammad Salallaho alayhay wa sallam) reported that Dear Prophet Muhammad Salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said: When u see that Black Flags have appeared from KHORASAN ,go to (join) them as the Khalifah of Allah MAHDI will be among them *3 Ref: Baiqahee and Ahmed in Dalael-e-Nabowat ,Hadith No 5225 in Mishkat-ul-Masabeeh.

• Abu Hurairah (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "(Armies carrying) black flags will come from Khorasan. No power will be able to stop them and they will finally reach Eela (Baitul Maqdas) where they will erect their flags."*4 Ref: Saheeh Trimdi

• Hadhrat Buraidah (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: "There will be many armies after me. You must join that army which will come from Khorasan.*5 Ref: Narrated by Ibn-e-Adi & Asaker & Seyuti in Jamiah Sagheer .

• Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Haris(R.A) that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said that “People will come from the East who will make Khilafah (Islamic Rule) easy for Imam Mahdi.*6 Ref : Ibn-e-Majah Hadith 4088

• Narrated by Abdur Rehman Al-Jarshi that I heard companion of Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam), Hazrat Amr Bin Marra Al-jamli(R.A) that Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said: Surely Black Flag will appear from the Khorasan until the people(under the leadership of this flag) will tie their horses with the Olive Trees between Bait-e-Lahya and Harasta. We asked are there any Olive trees between these places. He said,”If there isn’t then soon it will grow so that those people(of Khorasan) will come and tie their horses there.”7 Ref: Kitab-al-Fitan Page 215. Also at Page 108 in the book “Islam main Imam Mahdi ka Tasawer” by Maulana Professor Muhammad Yousaf Khan,Jamia Ashrafia Lahore,Pakistan.

Khorasan means the Land from where the Sun rises. In other words it also means the EAST. So in the hadith ( Mentioned in Ibn Maajah, Ahmad's Musnad, al-Haakim's Mustadrak) the word EAST means the same as KHORASAN.

KHORASAN=THE EAST

Also one more fact that both the ahadith does not contradict each other is that land of KHORASAN is also in the EAST.So the word EAST actually points out to Khorasan.

Boundaries of Khorasan:

According to the reference from the wicked(i.e Britannica 1997):

KHURASAN,. The historical region extended, along the north, from the Amu Darya (OxusRiver) westward to the Caspian Sea and, along the south, from the fringes of the central Iranian deserts eastward to central Afghanistan. Arab geographers even spoke of its extending to the boundaries of India.

This definition tells that the following area is included in the Historical region of Ancient Khorasan.

· Northern Part of Iran ,

· Afghanistan,

· North Western Part of Pakistan and

· Southern parts of Central Asian Turkish states like Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The geographical location of the Pathans / Pashtuns is also the same as told in the Ahadith.

Note 1 Great Scholars like Hafiz Ibn-e-Katheer never made any doubt about the hadith telling about the black flags of Khorasan.He explains that these black flags are not the which were held by Abu Muslim Khorasani but they will appear at the time Imam Mahdi. Ref: Kaza Fi Al-Havee Page 60, J

Note 2

Also Naeem Bin Hammad narrated from Hazrat Hamza(R.A) that these flags will be small flags . Reference : Kaza Fi Al-Havee Page 68,69, J 2 .

Army of Mahdi will belong to a very poor Muslim Nation contrary to the majority of Arab countries who are rich.

• Narrated by Hazrat Abdullah Bin Masood(raddi Allah anho) that Dear Propher (salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said: A Nation will come from the East with Black Flags and they will ask for some goods(“Khair”/food or weapons) (because of them being needy) but the people will not give them,then,they will fight and win over those people(who didn’t give them what they asked).Now the people will give them what they asked for but they will not accept it untill they will hand it over to a person from my progeny who will fill this earth with Justice just as it was previoulsy filled with opression and tyranny .So if anyone of you find this Nation( i. e from the East with black flags) then you must joing them even if you have to crawl over ice.* Reference Al-Asha-ah الآﺸﺍﻋﺔ Page 240.

• Safwan reported the Mother of the Faithful as saying that Allah's Messenger (Salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said: They would soon seek protection in this House, viz. Ka'ba (the defenceless), people who would have no riches( i.e no wealth, no property by which they can be honoured by the people of the world) and nothing to protect themselves in the shape of weapons or the strength of the people. An army would be sent to fight (and kill) them and when they would enter a plain ground the army would be sunk in it. Yiisuf (one of the narrators) said: It was a people of Syria (hordes of Hajjaj) who had been on that day comin. towards Mecca for an attack (on 'Abdulllah b. Zubair) and Abdullah b. Safwan said: By God, it does not imply this army. Reference :Saheeh Muslim J2, Page 388, Also mentioned at Hadith number 3 ,Page 17 in Al Kahlefatul Mahdi Fe Al Ahadith-e-Saheha written by famouse scholar Hussain Ahmad Madni(May Allah shower His blessings on him)

Hadith in Arabic & Urdu

This hadith is further authenticated by Hadith Number 01 of Saheeh Muslim(described above and again below) because this Hadith tells us that this army will be poor and also have no weapons.We see that Hadith 01 also tells us that the Army of Bani Ishaq will win the first battle without weapons. This also proves that this POOR NATION is the same as the Bani Ishaq of Hadith 01.

• Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) saying: You have heard about a city the one side of which is in the land and the other is in the sea (Constantinople). They said: Allall's Messenger, yes. Therer upon he said: The Last Hour would not come unlesss seventy thousand[1] persons from Bani lshaq[2] would attack it. When they would land there, they will neither fight with weapons nor would shower arrows but would only say:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," that one side of it would fall. Thaur (one of the narrators) said: I think that he said: The part by the side of the ocean. Then they would say for the second time:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest" that the second side would also fall, and they would say:" There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," that the gates would be opened for them and they would enter therein and, they would be collecting spoils of war and distributing them amongst themselves that a noise would be heard and It would be said: Verily, Dajjal has come. And thus they would leave everything there and would turn to him. Reference : Book 041, Number 6979: Saheh Muslim

The following Hadith further tells us that This Poor Nation from Afghanistan has no worldy riches but they have the treasure of Iman (True Faith) due to which they are Targeted by the enemies of Islam

• Pity poor Taliqan (a region in Afghanistan) that at that place are treasures of Allah, but these are not of gold and silver but consist of people who have recognised Allah as they should have. Reference :Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p.59

ALMOST ALL THE HOMES OF ARABS WIL HAVE AFFLICTIONS WHEN THEY HAVE ABUNDANCE OF WEALTH IN THE END TIMES

The fact of Arabs having wealth at the time of Afflictions or at the end times is also confirmed from this hadith

• Auf bin Malik radhiyallahu anhu says: I came to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam while he was in his skin tent during the Tabuk expedition. He said to me, "Count six things before the advent of Qiyamah:

1. My death
2. The conquest of Jerusalem
3. Mass deaths amongst you people, just as when sheep die in large numbers during an epidemic
4. Abundance of wealth to such an extent that if a person were to be given a hundred Dinars he will still not be satisfied
5. General Afflictions and bloodshed, that no Arab household will be spared from it
6. Then a life of peace as a result of a peace agreement between you and the Banil Asfaar (Romans) which they will break and attack you with a force consisting of eighty flags and under each flag will be an army of twelve thousand men." Reference : Saheeh Bokhari.

Mahdi Army will come from a Cold Climate area with Snow & where people wear Warm Woolen Clothes

Check the following ahadith in which the word ICE is used when the forces of Imam Mahdi are mentioned

• Thawban (R.A) reported that Dear Propet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said, “ In your old age three men will be killed . Each of them will be the son of a Khalifah. Then the black banners will come out of the east,[1] and they will slaughter you in a way that no Nation has ever done before.Then Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said soemthing that I didn’t remember.Then again Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said if you see him give him your allegiance, even if you have to crawl over ice, because he is the Khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi.”*Reference: Ibne Majah Page 300, Also in Ahmad's Musnad, al-Haakim's Mustadrak and others.).

• Dear Prophet Muhammad(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said that”When you hear the news of Black Flags coming from Khorasan, then, you must join them even if you have to crawl over ice(to reach them).Reference: Saheeh Trimdi J2,Page 56.

After the Word Ice is mentioned the following hadith mentions that Imam Mahdi will be wearing two Woolen sheets wrapped around his body which also shows Mahdi being from a cold climate area

• Narrated Hazrat Umama reported Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: You and the Romans(Christians) will have four peace treaties[12]. The fourth peace would be at the hand of a person who would be from the Al-e-Haroon( family of Prophet Haroon).This peace treaty would be for seven years. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) was asked who would be the Imam of the Muslims at that time. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said” That person would be from my family,his age would be 40 years ,his face would be bright as a start and a black spot would be on his right cheek.He would be wearing two Qutwani Cloaks.He will appear exactly as the person from Bani Israeel. He will rule for 20 years and will conquer the cities of the Mushrikeen(Idolaters).Reference : TabraniJamia Kabeer By Imam Suyuti)(also mentioned in EIHTESAAB-E QADIYANIAT Vol4 by Maulana Syed Badar Alam Merthi published by International Therik-e-Khatem-e-Nabowat).

Now according to the ahadith decribing Mahdi’s forces from the East of Hijaz, we see that The Arabian areas has no cold climate. Then Iraq comes which also has no cold climate and also Iraq is told to be the land of Afflictions. The Iran comes which is also told to be the Followers of Dajjal. Then we have the Historical region of Khorasan which do have snow capped mountains and also the people there wrap Woolen sheets to save themselves from cold weather. This also proves that the Pasthuns are the followers of Imam Mahdi.

THE ARMY OF MAHDI WILL BE FROM THE HITRORICAL REGION OF TALIQAN

• Praise to TALIQAN (City in Afghanistan but here it means the whole area) where are the treasures of Allah (subhanahu wa ta-ala) but these treasures are not of Gold or Silver but of men who will recognise Allah (Subahnahu wa ta-ala) as He should be recognised and they will be helpers of MAHDI ( Hadith Reference : Kanzul Amal 291/14).

and that the main reason for the massacre of Pashtuns since 1979 which started in Afghanistan in 1979 and still contiunes both in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This was even prophecised in the following hadith

• Pity poor Taliqan (a region in Afghanistan) that at that place are treasures of Allah, but these are not of gold and silver but consist of people who have recognised Allah as they should have. Reference :Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p.59

An Arab King will attack Mahdi but will be swallowed in earth

• Abu Hurairah has narrated that the Prophet (salallaho alayhay wa sallam)said: "A man will emerge from the depths of Damascus. He will be called Sufyani(because of belonging to the tribeof Sayyidna Sufyan from the Arabs). Most of those who follow him will be from the tribe of Kalb. He will kill by ripping the stomachs of women and even kill the children. A man from my family will appear in the Haram, the news of his advent will reach the Sufyani and he will send to him one of his armies. He (referring to Imam Mahdi) will defeat them. They will then travel with whoever remains until they come to a desert and they will be swallowed. None will be saved except the one who had informed the others about them." Reference : Mustadrak.

Arabs tribes will attack the pilgrims in Arabis

• Amr-bin-Shuaib reported from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah said, ‘’In Dhul-Qada (Islamic month) the tribes will fight, Hajis will be looted and there will be a battle in Mina in which many people will be slain and blood will flow until it runs over the Jamara-tul-aqba. Their companions (referring to Imaam Mahdi) will flee to a point between the Corner and the Maqam and will be forced to accept people’s allegiance.'’ Reference : :Al-Fitan Nuaim-bin-Hammad

The following hadith tells us about the attack of the Arab tribe Quraish upon the Muslims

• Huraira reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: This tribe of the Quraish would kill (people) of my Ummah. They (the Companions) said: What us to do (in such a situations)? Thereupon he said: Would that the people remain aside from them (and not besmear their hand with the blood of the Muslim). Reference : Saheeh Muslim (Book 041, Number 6971)

The Afflictions ( Fitnas )will come from Arab areas of Nejd and Iraq in the East

In the Hadith no 1 and the other ahadith described after this ,it is told that forces to help Imam Mahdi will come from the East but at the same time in some ahadith its told that Afflictions (Fitnas) and Dajjal will also come from the East.

• Malik related to me from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The head of kufr is towards the east. Boasting and price is among people who have horses and camels. The loud-voiced people are the people of tents (the Bedouins). Tranquillity is with the people who have sheep." Reference : MAUTA IMAM MALIK.

This place is Nejd as described in the following hadith

• Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (Salallaho alayhay wa sallam)said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The People said, "And also on our Najd." He said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! And also on our Najd." I think the third time the Prophet said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan." Reference : SAHEEH BOKHARI Volume 9, Book 88, Number 214.

Prayer against the tribes of Nejd for complete one Month by Dear Propohet Salallaho alayhay wa sallam.

• Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet recited Qunut for one month (in the Fajr prayer) asking Allah to punish the tribes of Ral and Dhakwan. Reference : Bokhari(Volume 2, Book 16, Number 117).
• Narrated by Anas: The Prophet sent a Sariya (an army detachment) consisting of men called Al-Qurra', and all of them were martyred. I had never seen the Prophet so sad over anything as he was over them. So he said Qunut (invocation in the prayer) for one month in the Fajr prayer, invoking for Allah's wrath upon the tribe of 'Usaiya, and he used to say, "The people of 'Usaiya have disobeyed Allah and His Apostle." Reference : BokhariVolume 8, Book 75, Number 403.

History shows many fitnas coming from Nejd.Most of the Khawarij (the people who martyred Hazrat Ali(May Allah be pleased with him) and many other sahaba)were from the Najd area, from the tribes of Banu Hanifa, Banu Tamim, and Wa'il.The fake self proclaimed Prophet Musaylima Kazzab who martyred many Sahaba was also from Nejd and from the Banu Hanifa tribe.Also Al-e-Saud (present rulers of Saudia ) and the Abdul Wahhab also from the Nejd.

This place of afflictions in the East is also Iraq as told in this hadith.

• Narrated Yusair bin 'Amr: I asked Sahl bin Hunaif, "Did you hear the Prophet saying anything about Al-Khawarij?" He said, "I heard him saying while pointing his hand towards Iraq. "There will appear in it (i.e, Iraq) some people who will recite the Quran but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out from (leave) Islam as an arrow darts through the game's body." Reference :Saheeh Bokhari ) Volume 9, Book 84, Number 68
• Narrated Ibn Abi Nu'm: A person asked 'Abdullah bin 'Umar whether a Muslim could kill flies. I heard him saying (in reply). "The people of Iraq are asking about the killing of flies while they themselves murdered the son of the daughter of Allah's Apostle . The Prophet said, They (i.e. Hasan and Husain) are my two sweet basils in this world." Reference : Saheeh Bokhari)Volume 5, Book 57, Number 96
• Ibn Fudail reported on the authority of his father that he heard Salim b. 'Abdullah b. 'Umar as saying: O people of Iraq, how strange it is that you ask about the minor sins but commit major sins? I heard from my father 'Abdullah b. 'Umar, narrating that he heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying while pointing his hand towards the east: Verily. the turmoil would come from this side, from where appear the horns of Satan and you would strike the necks of one another; and Moses killed a person from among the people of Pharaoh unintentionally and Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said:" You killed a person but We relieved you from the grief and tried you with (many a) trial" (xx. 40). Ahmad b. Umar reported this hadith from Salim, but he did not make a mention of the words:" I heard". Reference ::Saheeh Muslim, Book 041, Number 6943

Some people (like the so called SALAFIs ) think that wherever Nejd is metioned as the land of Fitna, it actually meant Iraq.But the following hadith tells us that both Iraq and Nejd are TWO different places.

• Abu Zubair heard Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) as saying as he was asked about (the place for entering upon the) state of Ihram: I heard (and I think he carried it directly to the Apostle of Allah) him saying: For the people of Medina Dhu'l-Hulaifa is the place for entering upon the state of Ihram, and for (the people coming through the other way, i. e. Syria) it is Juhfa; for the people of Iraq it is Dbat al-'Irq; for the people uf Najd it is Qarn (al-Manazil) and for the people of Yemen it is Yalamlam Reference :Saheeh Muslim ,Book 007, Number 266

So both the Nejd and Iraq are the Land of Afflictions.

Small Number of Arabs remaining to fight Dajjal

• Umm Sharik reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The people would run away from the Dajjal seeking shelter in the mountains. She said: Where would be the Arabs then in that day? He said: They would be small in number. Reference : Saheeh Muslim Book 041, Number 7035
• The same hadith has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Juraij with the same chain of transmitters. Reference : Saheeh Muslim ,Book 041, Number 7036

The following hadith tells us that the Time of Mahdi’s forces will be the time when the Arabs will be having 1) So much wealth and 2) There will be blood shed among the Arabs(probable at the hand of the Christians or at the hands of the forces of Imam Mahdi from the East whom they will fight against(as shown in the above ahadith).

Those Arabs who will Join The Forces of Imam Mahdi

1. A Small Number of Arabs

• Hazrat Abu Qutada(R.A) narrated a long Hadith from Dear Prophet(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) where Umm Sharik said: Where would be the Arabs then in that day?(Meaning why the Arabs wont come forward and fight for Islam ). He(salallaho alayhay wa sallam) said: They would be small in number? And from that remaning Arabs,most of them will be in Bait-ul-Muqaddas (Sham) and their leader will be a pious man (Mahdi).When their leader will move forward to lead the Morning prayers,then,Hazrat Eisa(Alayhay salam) will descend from the sky.The leader will step back so that Hazrat Eisa(Alayhay salam) will lead the prayers but Hazrat Eisa(Alayhay salam) will put his hand on his back between his shoulders and say Move forward and lead the prayers because the Aqamah was called for you.Then the Imam will lead the prayers to all people. Reference : Sunan Abi Majah ,307,308

AND

2. Forty Pious People "ABDAL"from Sham(Syrian Countrties) & Ten to Forty Pious People "Asa-eb" from Iraq Joins Mahdi's

1. Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Mu'minin: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Disagreement will occur at the death of a caliph and a man of the people of Medina will come flying forth to Mecca. Some of the people of Mecca will come to him, bring him out against his will and swear allegiance to him between the Corner and the Maqam. An expeditionary force will then be sent against him from Syria but will be swallowed up in the desert between Mecca and Medina. When the people see that the, ABDAL a (Eminent Saints) of Sham (Syria,Lebanon,Palestine) and ﻋﺻآﯿﺏ ASAA-EB from the people of Iraq come to him and swear allegiance to him between the Corner and the Maqam. Then there will arise a man of Quraysh whose maternal uncles belong to Kalb and send against them an expeditionary force which will be overcome by them, and that is the expedition of Kalb. Disappointed will be the one who does not receive the booty of Kalb. He will divide the property, and will govern the people by the Sunnah of their Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) and establish Islam on Earth. He will remain seven years, then die, and the Muslims will pray over him Reference : Book 36, (ABU-DAUD)Number 4273.

Who are Abdaal and Asa-eb

Abdal are a group of 60 pious people out of which 40 lives in the Historic region of Bilad-us-Sham and when each one of them dies another person takes over his place.

Asaeb ﻋﺻآﯿﺏ are also pious people of Iraq. Abu Naeem Asphani said the Asa-eb ﻋﺻآﯿﺏ means a group of people ranging from 10 to 40.
